The Arriva name first appeared across the UK and Europe some 20 years ago. It is a major European transport operator, running everything from busses, coaches, trains to waterbuses across 14 countries.
Arriva is now ready to go into 2018 with a refreshed identity – one which supports the company’s vision of becoming the mobility partner of choice. Included in this new identity is a strategy for growth and plans to secure a stronger position in the changing transport business.
Business are ready to implement this identity, including the new logo, progressively and cost effectively. Alison O’Connor, director – corporate affairs, commented: “Arriva’s logo, and in many cases our blue and cream buses, has become part of the fabric of towns and cities across Europe.
“There is a great sense of pride in the Arriva name and brand and it was important to us that we retained what is special about Arriva. Our new identity is more customer friendly and will support us as we develop our services to deliver the flexibility and choice that our customers want.”
Arriva will be speaking at the CiTTi exhibition on the 19th and 20th of June, where mobility project manager Radi Petrov will discuss the ways forward for public transport operators, looking closely at autonomous systems and the role of digitalisation. The exhibition will take place at the MK Arena in Milton Keynes.
