Autonomous robotics company Cartken has launched a new autonomous hauler robot designed to automate mixed outdoor and indoor environment material handling for manufacturing purposes.
Cartken highlights with this launch its growing focus on solutions beyond last-mile delivery, tackling a critical gap in industrial and onsite logistics automation: material handling across complex, mixed environments, multiple levels, and diverse terrains.
The Cartken Hauler combines advanced AI-powered camera-based autonomy with, all-terrain capabilities, for operation demanding environments, and navigates around people.
CEO and co-founder of Cartken Christian Bersch said: “We are building on our autonomous robot technology and AI models trained on hundreds of thousands of last-mile delivery miles.
“We now transfer this technology to industrial and onsite logistics automation, meeting our customers’ demand for a robust robotic transport solution that can operate in more challenging environments and is much faster to deploy than traditional mobile robots.”
Achievements and innovations in automation & robotics will be recognised and celebrated at the fourth annual CiTTi Awards on 25 November 2025 at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London. Visit www.cittiawards.co.uk to learn more about this unmissable event for the UK’s transportation sector!
