Self-driving vehicle software provider Oxa has acquired StreetDrone, a developer of autonomous technology for industrial logistics.
The deal aims to strengthen Oxa’s position in the industrial logistics sector, which involves the movement and management of goods on private land, including ports, logistics hubs, retail fulfilment centres and airports.
StreetDrone provides autonomous industrial solutions for operators, retailers and original equipment manufacturers.

Oxa said StreetDrone’s expertise in industrial logistics, drive-by-wire, vehicle integration and teleoperation technologies should benefit Oxa’s self-driving software platform, with both companies able to offer industrial autonomy solutions to customers.
