Entrants will include local government, transport operators/authorities, logistics providers and other place stakeholders – such as landowners, developers, and Business Improvement Districts – and their project partners, which could be architects, urban planners, contractors, and technology companies. Solution providers are welcome to enter but must do so with their customer or stakeholder partner.
Last year’s winners were announced during a glittering gala dinner held on Tuesday 21 November 2023 at the historic De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in central London. The event, hosted by renowned British actress and writer Jo Caulfield, welcomed 200 UK-based transportation professionals and saw more than 120 finalists from 70 organisations celebrated across 16 categories.
“Following the resounding success of the second annual CiTTi Awards last year, which doubled in size on the inaugural year, I’m delighted to announce the return and expansion of this event in 2024,” said John Thornton, editor of CiTTi Magazine.
“With 25 categories open for entry, this year’s CiTTi Awards will be even bigger and better, with more entries, more judges and more finalists than ever before. More categories simply means more chances to win!
“As always, when it comes to submitting entries, clear evidence of innovation, collaboration, implementation and execution will all be key to success – we want to see novel and original solutions and projects with tangible, data-driven, real-world outcomes,” added Thornton.
The deadline for nominations is Friday, 12 July 2024. The shortlist will be announced on Monday, 22 July 2024. Shortlisted entries will then be judged by a panel of experts from across the British transportation industry in September. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, 26 November 2023 at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in central London.
Despite nominations being open now, CiTTi Awards 2024 will officially launch at Sustainable Supply Chain Exhibition 2024, which takes place on 19-20 March at the NEC Birmingham alongside fellow Akabo Media events, IntraLogisteX 2024 – the UK’s premier intralogistics and materials handling exhibition, and Robotics and Automation 2024 – the UK’s largest exhibition dedicated to these technologies.
Previous CiTTi Awards winners, judges and sponsors will all be attendance to celebrate the launch of this year’s event. Register for a free visitor pass to attend the official launch party!
