Passenger transport company Go-Ahead and digital fleet management and software company Tranzaura have announced a partnership to deliver digital information to enhance operational efficiency across Go-Ahead’s regional bus fleet in the UK.
The five-year partnership aims to streamline Go-Ahead’s pre-service daily vehicle inspection checks for its bus fleets.
The fleets serviced include Go-Ahead’s London, Brighton and Hove, East Yorkshire, East Anglia, North East, North West, South Coast, Oxford and South West services.
By October 2024, maintenance processes will be conducted digitially through the Tranzaura app.
According to Go-Ahead, the transition from paper-based records to intuitive mobile apps will enhance reliability, safety, and sustainability across Go-Ahead’s fleet of more than 6,000 buses.
Matt Carney, chief executive of Go-Ahead Bus, said: “By incorporating Tranzaura’s digital solutions into our operations, we will achieve new levels of fleet reliability and efficiency, creating safer and more reliable services for customers.”
The Tranzaura app will provide real-time compliance visibility and audit trails for operational and management teams at Go-Ahead.
Through photo capture, dynamic reporting and real-time communication tool technology, the app aims to help ensure the smooth operation and overall reliability of Go-Ahead’s bus services.
The announcement of the rollout follows a successful pilot of the app at Go-Ahead’s London bus garages and depots.
Achievements and innovations in advanced fleet management and software solutions will be celebrated at the third annual CiTTi Awards, which will be held on 26 November 2024 at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London.
