Škoda has announced a collaboration with Czech rail and coach operator RegioJet to simplify the use of different public transport modes across cities in the Czech Republic.
Passengers travelling on a RegioJet coach or train services will be given the opportunity to register for 60 minutes of free e-scooter use through the DigiLab app.
Furthermore, new users of car sharing service HoppyGo will receive a 500-koruna (£17) credit for travelling on RegioJet’s trains or buses.
Škoda said it also plans to incorporate the RegioJet lines in its Prague Citymove app, allowing customers to access a range of mobility options, including e-scooters, buses, trams, the metro, rental bikes, taxis and ride-hailing services.
The partnership intends to make travel across the Czech Republic more sustainable by encouraging users to choose public transport and ride-sharing schemes over car ownership. It plans to achieve this by simplifying booking into one app.
