Autoglym, a British manufacturer of valeting products, has secured a contract to clean Stagecoach’s 7,200 buses throughout the UK.
The contract will make the company’s public service arm, Autoglym Connect, responsible for the cleanliness of Stagecoach’s entire fleet at some 100 depots across Britain.
The company will install and maintain dilution equipment at every depot to aid Stagecoach’s health and safety objectives and allow cleaning operatives to achieve consistency in product dilution, optimise product performance and ensure accurate cost control.
Stagecoach director Sam Greer said: “We have taken extensive steps to ensure our services are Covid-secure and customers can have confidence that they can travel safely. We are continually looking at ways to enhance our hygiene and cleaning regime and we are delighted to support this through our new contract with Autoglym.”
Under the contract, Autoglym will supply products from its professionals range, which are for all cleaning disciplines including vehicle exteriors, all interior surfaces and workshop floors.
