On 4th to the 6th of April 2017, CiTTi will be exhibiting at Traffex, at the NEC in Birmingham. We will be at stand H81 in hall 5, exhibiting the brand for the first time, introducing CiTTi: City Transport and Traffic Innovation Conference on the 27th and 27th of September 2017, CiTTi Magazine and CiTTi exhibition 2018.
Currently, we in an age of technological advancement as we welcome our fourth industrial revolution, industry 4.0, and push our limits with technological connectivity with the internet of things (IoT). The society of tomorrow envisions a world of robots, autonomous self-driving vehicles, flying busses and smart technology powered by artificial intelligence that keeps us more connected than ever before and makes our daily commute all that much more quicker and easier.
Alongside technological advancements, we are also predicted to experience a global population growth in the next 30-40 years, with the amount of people living in cities set to almost double. This generates cause for change as more people equates to more traffic, leading to increased congestion and, in turn, more emissions and resources being used. This calls for new strategies and concepts to be considered and implemented to cut pollution, emissions and congestion, whilst improving and simplifying the daily commuter’s life. Our systems are getting smarter, and accordingly, so are our cities. Within this, the way in which we move around within the city needs to reflect this, as well as being acquiescent with new standards of environmental friendliness as we aim to commit ourselves to a more sustainable, greener, future. It is respective to this that the CiTTi has emerged, growing out a for smarter solutions in our cities, fuelled by the innovation of today’s technological landscape and changing environment.
The CiTTi Conference will unite professionals from all over the world, presenting case studies on transport and traffic innovation in the city. Likewise, CiTTi magazine will provide readers with insights into the concepts, technology and solutions that are making cities smarter, covering everything from electro-mobility, robotics and intermodality, to data, interoperability and artificial intelligence. There will also be an opportunity for solutions providers to showcase the latest technologies that will shape our future at the CiTTi exhibition.
Come visit us at our stand next week, where we will be available to answer all questions. You can also grab your copy of CiTTi Magazine and subscribe. Likewise, you can discuss speaking, attending or sponsoring opportunities for CiTTi conference with us.
