Micromobility operator Lime is rolling its e-bikes out to the London borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, as it looks to provide rental e-bikes to residents in search of sustainable and active transport options.
Hammersmith and Fulham is now the seventh borough to welcome Lime e-bikes to its streets, with the provider already operating in the London boroughs of Camden, Islington, Ealing, Brent, City of London and Richmond.
The expansion into Hammersmith and Fulham comes as Lime recently reported five million e-bike rides in the UK capital.
Alan Clake, senior director of policy for northern and eastern Europe at Lime, said: “Expanding our e-bike service into Hammersmith & Fulham is a key step in our ambition to build a future where transport is shared, affordable and carbon-free.
“The borough is already deeply committed to implementing a more sustainable transport network through its participation in the London e-scooter trial, and it is home to an impressive number of residents that want to live more sustainable and active lifestyles.
In partnership with the council, we hope this number can continue to grow with the introduction of our e-bike services.”
This news follows the introduction of Dott and HumanForest e-bikes in the borough last week.
