Micromobility operator HumanForest has announced that it will be adding a new model of e-bike to its London fleet, which includes a range of updated features.
Some of the features HumanForest says it has added are increased acceleration and smooth ride at all speeds; a lightweight e-bike frame for improved agility and manoeuvrability; prolonged battery range that can reach 100km (62.1 miles) per charge; and extended seat height to accommodate a wider range of heights.
What’s more, the e-bike provider claims that, though the maximum speed has remained at the legal limit of 25 km/h (15.5 miles), the streamlined weight helps to kick-start the rider’s journey faster.
HumanForest hopes the updated design will help its micromobility options appeal to an even wider audience and further encourage behavioural changes towards active travel as part of wider transport decarbonisation goals.
In addition to this, the company hopes that the new e-bike offers improved levels of comfort with its added height options, a combination of spoked wheels, soft tyres and a thicker seat to absorb the impact of road bumps.
