Electric vehicle (EV) charging bay host and operator Applegreen Electric has signed a strategic partnership with EV charging solution provider Paua that will enable Paua’s charge card and app to be used at hundreds of Applegreen and Welcome Break charging points in the UK and Ireland over the next 12 months.
The collaboration is set to expand Paua’s EV charging network to include Applegreen Electric’s ultra-fast charging stations and will initially add more than 250 ultra-rapid charge points across 20 Welcome Break motorway sites in the UK.
The Applegreen Electric chargepoints will be readily available to Paua customers at Welcome Break and Applegreen services located along major strategic road network arteries in the UK, spanning from London to Glasgow, Cardiff to Sheffield, and more.
Within the next 12 months, a total of 500 charging points at Applegreen and Welcome Break locations in the UK and Ireland will be covered by the partnership.
