Electric buggy company Yo-Go has launched a pay-as-you-go electric buggy pilot in Hammersmith & Fulham.
Yo-Go reports that more than 250 local residents have registered to participate in the pilot, which will run until the end of October.
The first ten buggies can be found on Woodlawn Road at the junctions with Niton Street and Finlay Street.
The buggies are fully insured and anyone between the ages of 25 and 70 who has held a UK driving licence for over two years can drive one.
They can also carry two people plus bags, slot sideways into any parking bay, are ULEZ exempt, and have a 30-mile range when fully charged.
The vehicles are able to drive on roads up to 40mph but not through Congestion Charging zones. They can also be parked free of charge in any Hammersmith & Fulham controlled parking zone.
