Scottish hotel Ulbster Arms has installed three electric vehicle (EV) chargers to help support its guests’ EV charging needs.
The three new chargepoints installed at the site comprise two 22kW Landis + Gyr fast chargers and one ultra-rapid 120kW Wallbox charger.
Operated by EV chargepoint operator (CPO) Believ, the chargers are located next to the hotel entrance.

Director of the Ulbster Arms John Drummond said: “Our unique location means we have repeat visitors to the hotel every year, and recently we have seen increased requests from guests to provide EV charging.
“We are proud to have partnered with an experienced CPO, helping to serve our guests as well as growing EV usage in the area.
“Believ’s fully funded offering means we have been able to install scalable EV charging infrastructure to suit our different clients’ and local community needs.”
Achievements and innovations in EV charging infrastructure will be recognised and celebrated at the fourth annual CiTTi Awards on 25 November 2025 at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London. Visit www.cittiawards.co.uk to learn more about this unmissable event for the UK’s transportation sector!
