Miami-based Blink Charging Co, an owner, operator, and provider of EV charging equipment and services, has announced the acquisition of St Albans-based firm EB Charging.
The move follows EB Charging’s Series A funding round that saw expressions of interest from UK and international companies and individuals. EB Charging added the acquisition is welcomed by the company’s board and founders.
Furthermore, the acquisition adds to Blink’s existing international operations in more than 18 countries and will see EB Charging continuing under its current brand to deliver their current strategy but at increased pace.

EB operates around 1,100 charge points across the UK, principally for local authorities, NHS healthcare trusts, further education colleges, and for fleets, and is represented on many procurement frameworks.
Michael D. Farkas, Blink founder & CEO, Brendan Jones, Blink president and Miko de Haan, Blink managing director Europe will join the EB Charging board as non-executive directors.
