City Transport & Traffic Innovation Magazine (CiTTi) will host an all-new conference this autumn for UK transport industry professionals, marking the latest addition to publisher Akabo Media‘s industry-leading portfolio of CiTTi events.
The CiTTi Conference will take place on Tuesday 10 September 2024 at 30 Euston Square in London and provide an exciting platform to discuss, learn and debate the latest legislative and regulatory policies driving the development and implementation of next-generation urban mobility solutions.
The one-day event will explore the latest industry developments and future thinking from growing towns and major cities around the UK via exclusive case-study presentations and in-depth panel discussions.
What’s more, it will examine how the country’s towns and cities are working with central government policymakers, regional transport authorities and solution providers to deploy innovations that help move people, goods and materials through urban environments safely, cleanly and efficiently.
John Thornton, editor of CiTTi Magazine, said: “With CiTTi Magazine, the CiTTi Awards and, now, the CiTTi Conference, we are delivering a multi-channel, content-led service for transport professionals that connects businesses with the organisations and people they want to reach. It’s a hugely exciting time for the CiTTi brand!”
Attendees to the CiTTi Conference will learn about cutting-edge solutions enabling truly sustainable and connected public transport networks for businesses and active urban commuters; the latest congestion-reduction and road-charging schemes ensuring smooth traffic flows around key city areas; innovative monitoring systems aiding low- and zero-emission initiatives, and incentives for logistics companies and retailers to use greener delivery vehicles.
The CiTTi Conference will welcome delegates from around the country and across sectors, offering an invaluable opportunity for active discussion, peer-to-peer leaning and industry networking to accelerate partnerships and collaboration, support better project delivery, and further debate and working agreements.
Topics and technologies to be presented at the CiTTi Conference include urban logistics and last-mile delivery, clean air initiatives, electric vehicles and charging infrastructure, connected and autonomous vehicles, smart parking systems, mobility-as-a-service, micromobility and multimodal transport solutions, road-user charging, intelligent transportation systems, congestion reduction and road safety.
Those wishing to submit a paper for consideration must submit a Call for Papers form, with submissions formally opening from next month (February). Those selected will be invited to deliver a presentation on the chosen topic.
