City Transport & Traffic Innovation Magazine (CiTTi) will moderate a special panel discussion on the current and future state of EV charging infrastructure in the UK at Akabo Media’s co-located IntraLogisteX, Robotics and Automation, and Sustainable Supply Chain exhibitions on 19-20 March 2024 at the NEC Birmingham.
As part of a multi-theatre conference programme, the CiTTi session will take place within the Sustainable Supply Chain Exhibition Conference theatre on Day 1 of the event and see a mix of government policymakers, academics and end-users discuss how different stakeholders can address the challenges and opportunities associated with expanding EV charging networks to meet growing demand.
Reuben Henry-Fellows, assistant editor of CiTTi Magazine, will moderate the 50-minute session. He said: “As the global push toward sustainability gains momentum, the intersection of EVs and charging infrastructure becomes a focal point. As such, this panel discussion promises to be a must-attend for anyone tasked with furthering this country’s EV charging infrastructure.
“We will examine the roles of innovative technologies, policy initiatives and industry partnerships in advancing sustainable and efficient EV charging solutions, and debate how such efforts can contribute to broader environmental goals and a more sustainable future of transportation.”
The Sustainable Supply Chain Exhibition Conference will host a number of presentations delivered by keynote speakers from across the transport and logistics sectors on topics such as transport planning, alternative fuels, last-mile delivery and route optimisation, among others.
In total, 8,000 attendees are expected across all three co-located events, drawn from sectors including, but not limited to, automotive, healthcare, F&B, retail, 3PLs, transport, distribution and government/public sector.
