City Transport & Traffic Innovation Magazine (CiTTi) will moderate a special panel discussion on the future of alternative fuels for heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) at this year’s Sustainable Supply Chain Exhibition on 25-26 March 2025 at the NEC Birmingham.
Part of a dynamic multi-theatre conference programme, the CiTTi panel will feature on day two within the Sustainable Supply Chain Exhibition Conference theatre.
It will bring together government policymakers, academics and end-user organisations to explore the challenges and opportunities in adopting sustainable HGV fuels.
Discussions will focus on how various stakeholders can accelerate their transition to cleaner energy solutions to meet the increasing demand for greener logistics.

Reuben Henry-Fellows, deputy editor of CiTTi Magazine, will moderate the 50-minute session. He said: “With the UK’s net-zero ambitions driving sustainability across all sectors, the transport industry has made significant progress in adopting alternative fuel solutions.

The Sustainable Supply Chain Exhibition Conference will feature a diverse line-up of expert speakers from across the transport, supply chain and logistics sectors.
Topics will include achieving net-zero targets, ESG reporting, renewable energy innovations, circular economy practices, carbon capture technologies, food security through sustainable management, eco-friendly packaging solutions, collaborative sustainability partnerships, ethical labor and human rights, near-shoring for resilience, and product life cycle assessment.
In total, more than 11,000 attendees are expected to attend this year’s Sustainable Supply Chain Exhibition, which will once again be co-located with fellow Akabo Media exhibitions IntraLogisteX and Robotics and Automation.
Together, these combined events will represent industries such as automotive, healthcare, food and beverage, retail, third-party logistics, transport, distribution, manufacturing, engineering and the public sector.
