‘Meet the Buyers’ – an enterprising initiative providing buyers with a dedicated space to connect and engage directly with exhibitors – is proving to be immensely popular at Sustainable Supply Chain Exhibition 2024, which is co-located IntraLogisteX, Robotics and Automation 2024.
AMCO, Kuehne + Nagel, Uniserve, Menzies Distribution, Simpex Express, and Walkers Transport are among the end-user companies participating in the new area, which is facilitating invaluable one-to-one exchanges between buyers and suppliers interested in logistics and supply chain sustainability, as well as robotics and automation.
“’Meet the Buyers’ has contributed to this year’s exhibition being the biggest and best to date,” said Stephen Brooks, managing director of event organiser, Akabo Media.
“It’s a specific space within the exhibition arena that offers exhibitors a direct route to buyers seeking new solutions to implement at their businesses.
“Predominately created as a fast-track business exchange, it’s also a convenient avenue for prearranging meetings and establishing contacts.
“’Meet the Buyers’ aligns with our aim to curate a connective experience, as well as a stunning showcase of revolutionary solutions, thought-leading presentations and debate.”
As a result, the show’s 250 exhibitors are – at their own discretion and on their own schedules – specifically targeting those with purchasing power.
The area has been added to this year’s event to broaden the functionality of the three exhibitions, which already provide opportunities for greater footfall and lead generation through the co-location.
Access to the ‘Meet the Buyers’ area is limited to exhibitors and special guests of the exhibition between 9:30am and 11:30am on both days.
