The UK’s leading warehousing, logistics and materials handling exhibition, IntraLogisteX, will launch in the USA at the Miami Beach Convention Center on 13-14 November 2024.
The all-new show – organised by Akabo Media, publisher of City Transport & Traffic Innovation Magazine (CiTTi) – will build on the legacy of the IntraLogisteX brand while also establishing itself as an exciting and independent exhibition for the US market.
IntraLogiesteX USA will therefore provide a laser-focused environment for the USA’s logistics and supply-chain industries to share ideas, discover solutions and improve operational efficiency, agility, scalability and accuracy.
Attendees to the Florida-based exhibition will see next-generation warehousing and materials handling solutions live and in-person, including the latest in robotics and automation, as well as innovations in sustainable urban logistics for these industries.
In addition to the vast range of solutions on the show floor, the two-day event will host a dynamic line-up of keynote speakers, thought leaders and workshops, offering both attendees and exhibitors alike the opportunity to learn from and contribute to discussions on the latest industry trends and best practices.
IntraLogisteX USA will be officially supported by Logistics Manager – the UK supply-chain industry’s foremost title and its sole monthly publication for more than 40 years.
On the launch, Emily Uwemedimo, editor of Logistics Manager, said: “The US market offers huge potential for the IntraLogisteX brand, which has been the go-to exhibition for UK-based warehousing and logistics professionals for many years now.
“With the landscape for logistics undergoing seismic change in the past few years, remaining at the forefront of innovation will be key to helping organisations stay competitive in this ever-evolving space.
“Considering this, and that the North American logistics industry is among the largest and most integrated in the world, introducing IntraLogisteX to this region, and all the opportunities it offers, seems like a natural next step for this already well-established brand.”
The show will also be supported by Logistics Manager’s sister titles CiTTi Magazine and Robotics & Automation.
Building on Uwemedimo’s comments, John Thornton, editor of CiTTi Magazine, said: “As IntraLogisteX USA prepares to make its debut this November, we are witnessing a paradigm shift in the logistics landscape, especially within urban environments.
“The burgeoning growth of urban warehouses, micro fulfillment hubs, and distribution centres is not just a response to the escalating demands of e-commerce and same-day deliveries, but also a testament to the evolving dynamics of city planning and the push for sustainable urban mobility.
“These facilities are becoming the lifeblood of modern cities, seamlessly integrating into urban ecosystems and bringing products closer to consumers. This shift not only addresses the immediacy of consumer needs but also aligns with the environmental goals of reducing transportation emissions.
“The rise of these urban logistics solutions marks a pivotal chapter in how cities adapt to the fast-paced, technology-driven world, balancing efficiency with sustainability.
“IntraLogisteX USA’s launch is timely, providing a crucial platform for industry professionals to converge, share insights, and shape the future of urban logistics against the backdrop of this transformative era.”
