Sustainable Supply Chain Exhibition 2024 – co-located with IntraLogisteX and Robotics and Automation – has registered a record-breaking year after nearly 9,000 attendees descended upon halls 6 and 7 of the NEC Birmingham.
Akabo Media’s ‘three shows in one’ took place on 19-20 March and saw some 250 exhibiting companies, 60+ conference speakers and a number of brand-new show floor features, including ‘Meet the Buyers’, the ‘Innovation Trail’ and the official launch of the CiTTi Awards, wow an unparalleled crowd of logistics, automation, supply-chain and sustainability professionals.
Commenting on the success of the show, Stephen Brooks, managing director of Akabo Media, said: “We had a 50% increase in attendees this year and to have hit almost 9,000 visitors is phenomenal, but not surprising given the high quality of exhibitors this year.
“This was complemented with the addition of an all-new exhibition focused on everything sustainable for the logistics, supply chain and manufacturing sectors.
“These figures not only demonstrate that this is the leading event for the automation, supply-chain and sustainability business communities – with the co-location meaning visitors get the benefit of three shows in one.
“And next year will be even bigger and better. The increase in attendees we’ve seen year-on-year means we’re well on track to getting 11,000 high-quality professionals back to halls 6 and 7 of the NEC in 2025, with longstanding exhibitions IntraLogisteX and Robotics and Automation complemented by exciting new additions such as Sustainable Supply Chain Exhibition and Aurora Insights, plus more innovation-focused features, such as panel discussions, Meet the Buyers, Innovation Trail and Content Zones, on the show floor than ever before.”
The three industry-leading events for professionals will return to the NEC Birmingham on 25-26 March 2025, with more than 11,000 attendees and 350+ exhibiting companies expected.
