Daimler has launched a new “ready to spot” service that enables finding your car easier along with the “theft recovery” service that allows you to communicate with authorities and track down your missing car.
The “ready to spot” service saves the GPS location of the vehicle and, depending on distance, the app can recommend the fast route back via the moovel app.
The “theft recovery” allows users to put a virtual fence around their parked car, which then activates the live tracking and contacts the police. Police are then able to identify the position of the vehicle and increases the chances of recovery.
These two services are part of the “ready to” range which also includes the “ready to share” private car sharing service and the “ready to park” service.
