The partnership gives the potential for an additional 31 reliable, rapid charging points across NewRiver’s UK-wide retail portfolio, complementing existing charging points.
Osprey will also cover all costs associated with installing and servicing the rapid charging points while sharing profits to minimise financial risk.
Andrew Nosworthy, commercial director at Osprey Charging, said: “We’re delighted to be working with NewRiver to help future-proof their retail destinations by providing reliable, rapid EV charging for their retailers’ customers.
“This first charging site in Warminster is part of the re-charging network that will enable the decarbonisation of transport in the UK, and NewRiver’s forward-thinking strategy will ensure they stay ahead of the curve by equipping their retail locations to meet growing EV charging demand.”
The announcement is Osprey’s latest partnership in the retail property sector, where the charging business has installed more than 200 rapid chargepoints for portfolio owners including Ediston, London & Scottish Investments, M7 Real Estate and Brookhouse Group, over a five-year period.
