Ionity has announced the continued expansion its Italian charge network with the launch of a new station in Brenner, a comune in South Tyrol in northern Italy.
Drivers can now charge their EVs in less than 20 minutes using renewable energy from Ionity’s high-power 350kW chargers at l’Outlet Center Brennero.
Brenner is the third of 20 stations to be launched in Italy. The first two in Capri and Valdiccianaare already in operation.The remaining 17 stations are due to be installed by the end of 2020.
Concurrently, Ionity plans to establish 2,400 chargers across Europe within the same time frame.
