Kapsch TrafficCom acquired traffic management software and systems integration firm Transdyn from Powell Industries for $16 million (£9.7 million).
Transdyn is known for its DYNAC Advanced Traffic Management Software and Kapsch now offers end-to-end intelligent transport systems.
CEO Georg Kapsch, said ‘The current customer trend clearly shows the desire for a converged tolling and traffic management offering.
‘Together, we can respond to market requests in a holistic approach.’
