UK manufacturer of electric light commercial vehicles ePower Trucks is expanding its range, with two new models designed for last-mile deliveries.
The fully electric X-Cell and X-Cell micro, have top speeds of up to 50mph, can cover up to 120 miles and can carry half a tonne.
“Research shows that over half of delivery vans travel no more than 15 miles away from their bases, making this a very viable, compact vehicle for city area deliveries and collections,” said Jamie Radcliffe, sales director south for ePower Trucks.
Furthermore, the micro, a three-wheel vehicle, can be customised with a refrigeration box, insulated box for hot food and drink, or be fitted with an adaptable cargo box.
Bobby Cullen, sales director north, added: “The X-Cell series further expands our unique offering in all-electric last mile delivery vehicles. The last mile is often the costliest as well as a significant contributor to emissions. These compact, safe, all-electric vehicles can help change that.”
