It was a great start to March for Q-Free as the company announced two deals worth more than NOK 30m.
The first was an operation contract from Vegfinans AS for delivery of image handling services at a value of roughly NOK 10m. Vegfinans operates 20 toll road companies in Norway, and is wholly owned by six counties.
“Q-Free is experienced in delivering image handling services and solutions in other parts of the world, hence we are pleased to receive our first contract in Norway for these type of services,” said Acting CEO of Q-Free, Roar Østbø.
The second deal, worth roughly NOK 22m, was from Bangkok Expressway and Metro (BEM) for delivery of tolling systems. The new systems will be delivered within the end of the third quarter 2016. The orders include an extension of an existing Service and Maintenance contract for one year.
Østbø added: ”This project is important for Q-Free, and we see opportunities for securing more orders in Thailand this year. Deployment of tolling systems in this fast growing market, are the basis for increased tag sales.”
