PARKUNLOAD will be exhibiting at the City Transport and Traffic Innovation Exhibition which will be held on the 19 – 20 June at the MK Arena, Milton Keynes.
PARKUNLOAD is an innovative solution to regulate “smart” loading bays. It is a IoT platform that enables users to regulate and control loading bays in urban areas using “smart” road signs and mobile applications for both drivers and wardens.
PARKUNLOAD’s mobile application displays the loading permit and the maximum parking time depending on criteria such as precise location, schedule, driver’s profile, vehicle emissions, vehicle type and tonnage. This information is displayed when a driver gets close to the smart road sign.
“As part of our business expansion plan PARKUNLOAD is participating in the SBIR Last-Mile Delivery (LMD) challenge in the cities of Dublin and Belfast, and has successfully exhibited in the US but this is our first exhibition / conference in mainland UK,” said PARKUNLOAD product manager Roger Vilanou.
“CiTTi is a recognized leading national event for smart mobility and we are very excited about exhibiting here. Our aim is present our product, contact Local Authorities and Estates Managers that are confronting the LMD challenges and find partners in the research and service supply fields at national level.”
PARKUNLOAD will be exhibiting signs with the Bluetooth device. “Visitors will be able to try out the product and see for themselves how simple and practical this solution is,” added Vilanou.
