Global mobility hub Free2move has announced its acquisition of car-share service provider Share Now as part of its expansion in the mobility market.
With this acquisition, Free2move expects to introduce its mobility hubs concept to 14 new cities.
Share Now’s executive management team will not be changed.
“We are very happy to join Free2move,” said Olivier Reppert, CEO of Share Now.
“We will keep moving forward together to meet our customers’ expectations for increasingly sustainable, innovative and flexible mobility.”
Free2move has more than 450,000 vehicles offering rental, car sharing and subscription services, in addition to more than 500,000 parking places.
It now hopes to grow to 32 European and US mobility hubs.
Free2move also claims the acquisition will enable it to meet parent company Stellantis’ Dare Forward 2030 goal of 15 million customers and €2.8bn (£2.3bn) in revenue by 2030.
