Parking operator Q-Park has announced the completion of the acquisition of Britannia Parking.
An agreement for the full purchase of Britannia Parking was reached on 04 June 2024 following a thorough due-diligence process undertaken by Q-Park.
As a result of the acquisition, Britannia Parking, which is based in Bournemouth, Dorset, will provide Q-Park with its parking database and season-ticket booking system, whereby users can book long-term parking through its website.

Adam Bidder, managing director of Q-Park UK, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be able to confirm the acquisition of the Britannia Parking business.
“It is a successful and commercially solid business, which made the company a perfect acquisition target and we welcome our new colleagues to the Q-Park family.”
Britannia Parking has a national footprint consisting of more than 600 car parks ranging from multi-storey parking facilities to conventional pay and display parking using ANPR solutions linked to live tracking services plus fully managed CCTV and control room services from its Bournemouth base.
As well as owning and leasing its own parking facilities, Britannia Parking also manages car parks on behalf of landowners, such as large established funds and organisations, independent property developers, pubs and retail parks.
