The Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV) has announced the launch of a new Mobility-as-a-Service app, named RMV go.
The RMV is a transport association that covers the public transport network of the Frankfurt Rhine-Main area in Germany.
Some of the app’s features include the advance sale of season tickets and notifications for delays. As well as this, users can reportedly choose between a list and a map view for the connection information and add favourites.
What’s more, a large map on the starting screen offers information about nearby stops. RMV plans to include additional content and functions into the app in the coming months, such as on-demand offers.
“Find the right connection quickly, book the ticket with just a few clicks and set off with ease – that’s what our passengers want from our app,” said Professor Knut Ringat, managing director of RMV.
“RMV go provides all that and more: it is the ‘one app for everything’, with which bus, train, car and bike sharing are already easily available today.
“The booking of on-demand shuttles and other functions will be added in the next stages of development.
“This makes it “state of the art” and continues to write the success story of the RMV in the digital world.
“I would especially like to thank our project partners Cobe, Hacon and Cubicand I am pleased that we will also pull together in the forthcoming further developments.”
