Shanghai-based electric car sharing company, under Global Car-Sharing & Rental Co. Ltd., EVCARD has partnered up with the BMW Group to launch a car sharing service in the Chengdu, China. This will be under a new co-brand called “ReachNow Powered By EVCARD” and will offer users premium electric car-sharing that is available at 25 stations by 2018.
EVCARD will combine their app with the BMW Group’s advanced car-sharing technology to create a seamless processes of car usage – including payment, reservation, pick up and drop off. There will also be a 24-hour customer hotline.
This will be the BMW Group’s first smart mobility service enterprise in the Chinese market as they aim to provide their Chinese customers with a flexible, on-demand, innovative mobility solutions.
