Inrix has launched a collection of cloud-based applications that does not require data scientists to understand location-based data, making it easier for organisation to understand, manage and improve mobility.
According to the mobility intelligence firm, its new IQ solution provides location intelligence in easy-to-use applications that assist professionals at all skill levels, and make sense of anonymised location-based data quicker and more efficiently to improve decision making.
The application could help in deciding where to open a new business or understand how construction impacts traffic flow.
Inrix IQ includes data layers of traffic, routing, parking and incidents in an interactive map. A roadway analytics feature uses data from connected vehicles to provide on-demand traffic data, analytics and visualisations.
The software also provides insights into what is happening on the roadways in its “trip trends”, giving users access to data on billions of anonymised daily trips to monitor travel trends around the world.
Futhermore, Inrix IQ turns data points into graphs, charts and trends to visually answer location-related questions users may have.
Bryan Mistele, CEO of Inrix, said: “In today’s fast paced world, organisations need answers in minutes or hours, not days or months. Inrix IQ is a reliable, easy-to-use SaaS application suite that can help anyone understand the movement of people and goods.”
