On-demand shuttle company Shotl has announced the launch of an updated version of its mobility platform to enable the deployment of emergency services and essential workers.
New data-driven features have been incorporated to ensure demand-responsive mobility in a safer and more trackable manner, and to avoid unnecessary stops, restrict access to authorised staff and limit passenger capacity per vehicle.
“As the state of emergency is being declared worldwide, cities and transport authorities need to reinforce their transportation services to provide more efficient passenger allocation and distribution,” the company said in a statement.
