Lincolnshire County Council is creating new bus stop displays using software from Omnibus.
With OmniSTOPdesign, the council said it now has “total control” over styles, fonts, graphics, colours and paper size, giving its transport services team more flexibility and control over its bespoke displays.
Displays can be set in advance, so that new data can be imported when needed, and be specified down to individual bus stop level.
Omnibus carried out in-house training last month for the council’s transport services team, which has since used OmniSTOPdesign to create new templates ready to receive timetable data from OmniTIMES to create more displays.
Maria Lyon, community engagement and promotion officer for Lincolnshire County Council, said: “We began using OmniSTOPdesign almost immediately and we already have four routes using it.
“We are fully exploring the use of colour and logos and really enjoying using the software.”
