ASFiNAG, the organisation that plans, finances, builds, maintains and collects tolls for Austria’s autobahns, has announced a partnership with Tolltickets, a provider of tolling services and tolling products in Europe, which expands Tolltickets’ sales network in digital toll products.
As a result of the cooperation, various ASFiNAG toll products are now available on Tolltickets’ new online portal.
These include ASFINAG’s one-day vignette and 10-day vignette as well as individual tickets for the digital section toll.
In addition, Tolltickets, which is owned by Kapsch TrafficCom, will continue to offer adhesive Austrian paper vignettes for two months and one year, respectively.
Quentin Couret, managing director at tolltickets, said: “As a major goods and tourism transit country, the addition of Austrian toll products is a significant step forward in our mission to simplify toll services across Europe.
“The immediate validity of toll products purchased online is a great advantage for the convenience of purchasing and using vignettes and digital section toll.
“The contractual cooperation period of five vignette years and toll products sold at the prescribed price ensure the long-term availability and reliability of the extended offer.”
