The quarterly merseyflow dashboard provides statistics and graphs which show information on the number of crossings made, average daily traffic, number of PCNs issued, methods of payment, payments made on time, total revenue, and what percentage of this comes from PCNs.
Managing director of the Mersey Gateway Crossings Board, Mike Bennett, said: “We’re now consistently seeing over two million crossings using the bridges each month, a trend that is likely to continue as we head into our historically busier summer and autumn period.
“With journey levels rising steadily each year, it demonstrates the vital role the bridges play in continuing to provide time savings for residents, commuters and visitors in the region.”
