As vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication gains prominence in enhancing transportation safety and efficiency, V Track ID’s technology is designed to bridge the gap between RFID transponder systems and advanced V2X capabilities.
What’s more, the platform’s adaptability reduces the need for extensive construction or system overhauls.
Star Systems, which provides RFID readers and transponders, said it plans to leverage V Track ID’s technology to create seamless interoperability across applications.
The acquisition positions the company to support future advancements in transponder-to-everything (T2X) communication, enabling real-time data exchange among vehicles, toll systems and infrastructure.
Commenting on the acquisition, Ava Tang, chief operating officer of Star Systems International, said: “This acquisition significantly enhances STAR Systems’ portfolio of innovative solutions in the tolling and vehicle identification sectors.
“V Track ID’s platform, with its advanced security measures and flexibility, ensures broad applicability. We look forward to integrating these technologies to deliver unparalleled benefits to our customers worldwide.”
