Telematics technology company Teletrac Navman has taken on a contract with Kier Group which includes the implementation of its DIRECTOR platform, connecting 3,200 HGVs and LCVs in Kier’s fleet.
The DIRECTOR platform includes tracking device which shares key information such as location, speed, utilisation and time spent on site will enable Kier to monitor and optimise its fleet to ensure projects are delivered cost efficiently.
The platform allows Kier to monitor driver behaviour, providing data on braking, acceleration and cornering which helps Kier achieve its goal of reducing its emissions by 30 per cent by the year 2030 as part of a Group 30 by 30 strategy.
