Swedish automotive start-up company Uniti is now accepting deposits for the Uniti One – a climate-neutral, digital-first urban EV – from customers in Sweden and the UK.
The all-electric three-seater city car starts from £15,000 after a UK government subsidy. It is available to configure and order at www.uniti.earth.
Additional markets will also be opened in the coming weeks across Northern Europe.
So far, tens of thousands have configured the car, and over a thousand customers have added themselves to the waiting list. First deliveries are planned for mid-2020.
People placing a fully-refundable 50% deposit before 30 November, 2019 will be put into Uniti’s Founders Club. They will become the company’s first patrons and these members will receive all future software applications, update and enhancements, completely free of charge for life, and benefit from access to exclusive events, offers and services.
Talking of the car’s reception, Uniti CEO Lewis Horne said, “We’re thrilled at the hugely positive response to our unique electric city car. As those who have been following our story will know, we’ve been quiet over the past few months, busy preparing for this moment, and are really excited to see the Uniti One on sale.”
