In August, Dodge – an American car brand and a division of automotive manufacturing multinational Stellantis – announced its first electric muscle car concept, named the Charger Daytona SRT, and has now released further details.
Rumours around the upcoming car include that it may be featured in the next Fast and Furious film instalment.
The initial announcement of the e-muscle car received attention for being the first electric vehicle (EV) to be fitted with either an exhaust system or a sound generator labelled as such.
The commercially available version of the car won’t be ready until 2024, meaning the final product may sound different.
The model will run using a Banshee powertrain, though Dodge is yet to disclose specifics.
