Car manufacturer Honda has posted a video of a design team in Los Angeles working on its upcoming Prologue EV.
The video offers some insight into the vehicle’s design process and the team behind the new vehicle’s styling.
“Designing the first volume Honda electric vehicle gave us more freedom than a vehicle with an internal combustion engine, and we can stretch our imagination, especially in styling the front-end,” said Sang-Hyuk Ahn, an exterior designer at Honda.
“We envisioned Prologue with a longer wheelbase, shorter overhang, and capable tires to create sporty proportions and a stronger stance.”
The four-minute clip includes footage of the project’s use of virtual reality realisation, which offered designers a chance to look at the prototype in a virtual 3D environment.
The SUV is expected to become available in 2024, with more information expected in the coming months.
